NEUROFEEDBACK CERTIFICATE COURSE

DURATION – 75 HOURS

FACILITATOR – PROF SAI KIRAN, REGANMEDCARE

 DATE – 07 MARCH 2019  – 12 APRIL 2019

Neurofeedback is a specialised and effective method of identifying irregular brain wave patterns and simultaneously giving real-time feedback to train the brain. The method is an amalgamation of physiological, mental and environmental factors. This treatment allows to diagnose various disorders such as anxiety, depression, insomnia and ADHD among others.

The neurofeedback training course which is internationally certified by RegenMedcare was conducted every Thursday and Friday from 7th March to 11th of April. This was a 75 hour course, in which 13 students from the BA department had enrolled. The course certifies the students as professional neurofeedback practitioners.

The students gained a lot of information regarding various aspects of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, mental health disorders, brain mapping through electroencephalography and protocol designing supported by various assessments and assignments that facilitated effective learning.

It was a strenuous, yet fun filled experiencewhere the students got the opportunity to conduct live electroencephalographs on fellow students and faculty members and they were also involved in generating reports and making questionnaires regarding various mental health disorders.

This course is also providing students an opportunity to attend an internship in Dehradun at Lehman Hospital, which would give the students an exposure as to how the subject is brought into effect.

This course has indeed been a huge success for which I’d like to express our sincere gratitude to Mr. Sai Kiran Kumar Sir for providing an excellent coverage about neurofeedback training and extending support and guidance to all of us.

Thank you!
