ANTI-RAGGING CELL

Ragging is a heinous crime and a punishable offence as declared by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

Presidency P.U. College, Mangalore, firmly believes in fostering a safe, respectful, and harmonious environment among students and strictly condemns all forms of ragging. The Anti-Ragging Cell, comprising the principal and designated faculty members, actively ensures the prevention of such practices within the campus and hostel premises.

Students are regularly sensitized about the ill effects of ragging and made aware of the legal consequences through orientation programmes conducted at the beginning of every academic year. Continuous vigilance is maintained in hostels and common areas to ensure a healthy and inclusive environment that encourages respect for peers from diverse cultural and regional backgrounds.

The UGC regulations on curbing the menace of ragging are strictly applicable to all students and parents of Presidency P.U. College, Mangalore.

COUNSELLING AND ITS BENEFITS
